LIMESTONE'S WILLIAMS SCORES 69 IN ROUND 1 OF TUSCULUM FALL CLASSIC; SAINTS GOLF IN 8TH |
GREENEVILLE, Tenn.—Limestone College’s Brad Williams posted a score of 69 in the first round of the Tusculum Fall Classic on Monday to end the day tied for third place. The Saints are eighth in the 10-team field after scoring 303. The tournament is being played at the par-71, 6763-yard Link Hills Golf Club. Tournament-host Tusculum scored a three-under-par 381 to end the day in first place. Lincoln Memorial scored an even 284 for second, Wingate University is third (285), Catawba College is fourth (289), and Lenoir-Rhyne is fifth (295). Limestone’s Craig Parris is tied for 28th after scoring 75. Ben Ross is tied for 44th (79), Drew Sloan is tied for 50th (80), and Chris Etheredge is 57th (83). Limestone continues play at the Tusculum Fall Classic on Tuesday.
