LIMESTONE MEN’S GOLF TAKES 8TH AT ANDERSON INVITATIONAL

ANDERSON, S.C.—The Limestone College men’s golf team scored 318 in the second round of the Anderson Invitational for a two-day score of 631 to finish the tournament in eighth place. The tournament was held at the par-72, 6116-yard Brookstone Meadows Golf Club.

Tusculum won the event with a score of 581 (281-300), Catawba was second (287-301 588), while North Greenville was third (296-296 592). Anderson was fourth (295-298 593) and Lincoln Memorial was fifth (301-297 598).

Limestone’s Wally Brennan was the Saints’ top finisher with a two-round score of 156 (78-78). Drew Sloan tied for 34th (81-77 158), Ben Ross tied for 36th (77-82 159), while Brad Williams finished 38th (77-83 160). Chris Etheredge tied for 41st (83-81 164).

Limestone travels to Greeneville, Tenn., to compete in the Tusculum Fall Invitational on September 30-October 2 at the Link Hills Country Club.
