LIMESTONE MEN’S GOLF 9TH AFTER ROUND 1 OF ANDERSON INVITATIONAL

ANDERSON, S.C.—The Limestone College men’s golf team scored 313 in the opening round of the Anderson Invitational on Monday as the Saints finished the day in ninth place. The tournament is being played at the par-72, 6116-yard Brookstone Meadows golf club.

Tusculum leads the nine-team field with a score of 281. Catawba College is second (287), Mount Olive is third (291), and Anderson is fourth (295). North Greenville rounds out the top five (296).

Limestone’s Brad Williams and Ben Ross are both tied for 29th after shooting 77. Wally Brennan is tied for 34th (78), Drew Sloan is tied for 39th (81), and Chris Etheredge is tied for 41st (83).

Limestone continues play at the Anderson Invitational on Tuesday morning.
