CVAC RELEASES 2005-06 PRESIDENTIAL HONOR ROLL; 107 LIMESTONE STUDENT-ATHLETES HONORED

THOMASVILLE, N.C.--  The Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference announced the 2005-2006 CVAC Presidential Honor Roll on Tuesday. Limestone College had 107 student-athletes receive this honor.

CVAC institutions have once again raised the academic bar as 932 student-athletes achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.00 scale) at their institutions. 

The CVAC’s emphasis on “Academics and Athletics Working Together” has yielded the largest Presidential Honor Roll in conference history as this unique conference strives to be the front runner in NCAA Division II.  The CVAC sponsors eight women’s and six men’s sports that include men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross-country, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s lacrosse.
