MARTIN NAMED LIMESTONE ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR FOR FACILITIES

GAFFNEY, S.C.—  Limestone College Athletics Director Larry Epperly has announced that Jimmy Martin has been named Associate Athletics Director for Facilities. Martin’s duties will encompass supervising all seven athletics fields, the Timken Center, Physical Education Building, the cross country course, and the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center.

“I am very excited to assume the role of Associate Athletics Director,” said Martin. “Our fields are great, but we have some work to do on our other facilities. The College is committed to improving our facilities to make them the best in NCAA Division II.”

Martin has overseen Limestone athletics’ practice and game fields for the past seven years as the College’s Director of Fields. He has also been the head coach for the Lady Saints softball program for the last 18 years and will continue to serve Limestone in that capacity. He has won the most games of any coach in the history of Limestone College athletics, and is one of only two Saints coaches to have registered 400 or more wins.
