LIMESTONE COLLEGE ATHLETICS SPONSORING DRIVE FOR ALABAMA DISASTER RELIEF

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College Athletics Department will be collecting items to aid the relief efforts for the Alabama tornado victims. The collection drive will continue through March 16.

Fourteen people lost their lives when tornadoes ripped through Alabama last week. Many victims of the disaster need food, water, and other supplies.

Donations will be accepted at the following Limestone College home events:

Softball vs. Coker on Thursday, March 8 ( 2 p.m.-5 p.m.)

Women’s/Men’s Tennis vs. Mount Olive on Saturday, March 10 (1 p.m.-3 p.m.)

Baseball vs. Francis Marion on Tuesday, March 13 (2:30 p.m.-4:20 p.m.)

Men’s Lacrosse vs. Catawba on Wednesday, March 14 (3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.)

Softball vs. Anderson on March 15 (2 p.m.-4 p.m.)

Goods needed include:

• Bottled water
• Non-perishable food items
• Convenience foods
• Can openers
• Baby food, diapers, wipes
• Personal hygiene items
• Picnic supplies
• Insect repellent
• Over-the-counter medications
• First aid kits
• Flashlights, batteries, candles
• Generators, chain saws, and hand tools

*No used clothing, please*
