FORMER LIMESTONE STANDOUT KEVIN PUCETAS LEADS TEAM TO TITLE |

Keiser,Ore.- Former Limestone standout Kevin Pucetas (Spartanburg, SC) led the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, to the Northwest League Championship. Pucetas pitched six shutout innings, allowing five hits. Pucetas, who had a magnificent career for the Saints, also had a brilliant season in Salem. He compiled a 7-1 record in 15 starts. His ERA was an impressive 2.17. “It was nice to get a lead so I could be aggressive and attack the strike zone. It was just a matter of locating my fastball,” Pucetas said. “It’s easy to pitch when I’ve got these guys behind me to make plays.” |
