LIMESTONE’S MAXA NAMED CVAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK |
THOMASVILLE, N.C.—Limestone College sophomore Ryan Maxa (Sarasota, Fla.) was named Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Maxa pitched the complete game in Limestone's 8-0 shutout against Barton on Saturday to help the Saints to their first CVAC win of the year. Maxa recorded four strikeouts and only allowed three hits during the contest for his second victory this season. Limestone plays at Erskine on Tuesday afternoon in Due West, S.C. The Saints return home to host Anderson on Thursday at Bob Prevatte Field at 2:30 p.m. |
